2021 has been a strange year and although things may not have completely returned to normality one thing to be thankful for is the return of the Arrow Video FrightFest which takes place for real this year at Cineworld, Leicester Square in central London.

he annual five-day four-screen 50+ film extravaganza runs between 26th and 30th August and after a year online, it is wonderful to have FrightFest back with a hybrid event featuring in-cinema and online components bringing audiences a whole host of truly terrifying and terrific horror films.

Below we feature one of those monstrously amazing movies with our regular exclusive interview feature Five FrightFest Facts From and these five are from Killer Concept star Coley Brant:

1. Tell us about your film?
Killer Concept is a horror/comedy about three creative minds coming together to make a film about a serial killer that is currently active in their own town. It was filmed with mostly improved lines and a crew of 5 people!

2. How did you get into making horror movies?
My acting debut was actually a horror film about Slender man. I made some lifelong friends and started a career with it!

3. What film would you love to see screened at FrightFest and why?
Let me think. I’d think I’d like see The Evil Dead. It’s timeless and I would have loved to see it on the big screen.

4. If you could create your own award to give at the FrightFest, what would it be and why?
BEST SCREAM AWARD. What’s a horror movie without a good scream of agony? The trophy would be a golden screaming head. I mean, who wouldn’t want to put that on display in the living room?!

5. If your life was made into a horror film, what would it be called and who would play the starring role?
“There is Nothing” starring James McAvoy. (In the deep movie trailer voice) A man’s beliefs are destroyed triggering his descent towards insanity.
