Five FrightFest Facts From Georgia Winters star of Where the Skin Lies

1. Tell us about your film?
Where the Skin Lies is about how a group of people faced with a terrifying situation, choose to either bandy together or be taken over by the savagery of the human condition…

2. How did you get into making horror movies?
A lovely bit of kismet

3. What film would you love to see screened at FrightFest and why?
I am a huge scaredy cat. And I generally avoid horror films at all costs. But…This year I am seeing Cult of Chucky at FrightFest. And I’m already scared and trying not to think of the reality of sitting in a cinema with no escape and that creepy doll wandering around screen. What film would I love to see screened at FrightFest was the question…Give me Bambi. Or anything John Waters. They go hand in hand.

4. If you could create your own award to give at the FrightFest, what would it be and why?
My award at FrightFest would be the the equivalent of a Razzie for Horror which probably already exists but I love a really bad film, preferably one that doesn’t scare me AT ALL . EVER. But then it’s FrightFest and you’ve selected awesome films. God… Oh! The NOBOO-or maybe it could be an award for Sushi Horror- SLASHIMI…Got there in the end.

5. If your life was made into a horror film, what would it be called and who would play the starring role?
If my life were turned into a horror movie it would be called GEORGIA IN MY MIND and I would be trapped in Donald Trump’s body, and also played by Donald Trump. If none of this makes sense it’s because I drank too much covfefe.
