‘Demon Hunter: Time 2 Kill’ Pits Demons Against a Masked Killer in 1987
Demon hunter Taryn Barker is trading one apocalypse for another in Demon Hunter: Time 2 Kill, Zoe Kavanagh’s long-awaited sequel to Taryn Barker: Demon Hunter, which will make its UK digital debut on 9 November with a time-travelling collision of occult action, 1980s slasher horror and supernatural mayhem.

Niamh Hogan returns as Taryn, continuing her mission to keep demonic forces at bay after the events of Kavanagh’s 2016 fantasy horror. This time, her search centres on the Necrox, an ancient artefact split into two pieces that could have catastrophic consequences in the wrong hands.
Standing in her way is Elysia Cronika, played by A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master star Lisa Wilcox. By day, Elysia is a powerful CEO. By night, she leads a Satanic cult with plans to use the Necrox to unleash hell on Earth.

When Taryn proves too difficult to stop in the present, Elysia resorts to a more unusual solution and sends her back through time to 1987, along with a group of teenagers who become trapped in the same nightmare.
The shift gives Demon Hunter: Time 2 Kill an excuse to fuse its demonic mythology with the language of classic summer camp slashers. Taryn must protect the teenagers from a masked killer while searching for the missing artefact and finding a route back to the present before the timeline begins to collapse around them.
The film follows Kavanagh’s original Taryn Barker: Demon Hunter, which went on to win 15 awards internationally, including Best Director for Kavanagh at HorrorHound in 2017.

Kavanagh, who is based in Dublin, has also worked extensively across music videos and editing, with previous directing credits for bands including My Dying Bride, Khoma and The Birthday Massacre. Demon Hunter: Time 2 Kill continues the low-budget, genre-driven approach of her earlier work while expanding the scope with time travel, slasher references and larger action set-pieces.
Hogan, who is also a stunt performer, once again handles the physical side of Taryn’s battles, while Wilcox brings a strong horror connection to the antagonist role.
Following its festival run and US release, the sequel now heads to UK audiences through Miracle Media.
Demon Hunter: Time 2 Kill will be available on UK digital platforms from 9 November 2026. The trailer is available to watch below.
