‘Death Cycle’ and ‘Golem.AI’ Make GrimmVision’s Double Horror Release This October

GrimmVision is doubling down on horror this October with two very different nightmares arriving on UK digital on the same day. Gabriel Carrer’s motorcycle revenge slasher Death Cycle and Rebecca Wahl’s screen-life comedy horror Golem.AI will both be released on 12 October, offering one blood-soaked tale of vengeance and another built around technology, guilt and online cruelty.

Death Cycle comes from Carrer, the filmmaker behind For the Sake of Vicious and The Demolisher, and arrives following its world premiere at FrightFest 2025.

The film centres on ultra-wealthy siblings Caterina and Eddy Sullivan, played by Sasha Ormond and Matt Daciw, whose hit-and-run leaves one young woman dead and her sister Abby severely injured.

Their attempt to move on is interrupted by the arrival of a masked motorcyclist who begins targeting members of the Sullivan family in a series of violent killings.

Matthew Ninaber stars as Luca, a journalist who has distanced himself from his corrupt family but returns home to investigate what is happening. His search eventually brings him into contact with Abby, played by Kristen Kaster, as the pair are forced to confront the increasingly blurred line between justice and revenge.

Carrer’s film leans into Giallo influences and uses the slasher framework to explore inherited corruption and the way trauma can perpetuate further violence.

Golem.AI takes a radically different route. Directed by Rebecca Wahl, the film unfolds through screens and video calls as estranged friends Alec and Dylan reconnect in an attempt to repair their relationship.

Alec, an AI researcher, and Dylan, a recovering manchild, revisit an old online game from their past. The reunion quickly turns sour when something they unleash begins haunting them digitally, using their own screens against them and apparently seeking revenge for behaviour they would rather leave behind.

Starring Alec Seymour and Dylan Hares, the film combines supernatural horror with satire, particularly around toxic gamer culture, online bullying and the uncomfortable question of whether people are capable of genuinely changing once the consequences of past behaviour catch up with them.

Together, the titles give GrimmVision a split October release that covers both old-school revenge horror and contemporary technological anxiety.

Death Cycle and Golem.AI will both be available on UK digital platforms from 12 October 2026.
