Five FrightFest Facts From Loris Curci writer of Nightworld

1. Tell us about your film?
Loris Curci: Nightworld is a mystery-thriller with a couple of strong, horror twists. It tells about a mysterious building in a European capital that holds a terrible secret meant to change our view of a possible afterlife.

2. How did you get into making horror movies?
Loris Curci: Nightworld is not strictly horror although it does have a solid quantity of frights. I have produced a bunch of horror films and it was events like London’s SHOCK AROUND THE CLOCK that inspired me to tell stories that would find an audience in events like those…

3. What film would you love to see screened at FrightFest and why
Loris Curci: Anything that is non-conventional and pushes the boundaries of the genre would be most welcome.

4. If you could create your own award to give at the FrightFest, what would it be and why?
Loris Curci: I think you guys pretty much cover up all possible awards. Originality should always be awarded though. The genre is desperately in need of films that stay away from its many clichés.

5. If your life was made into a horror film, what would it be called and who would play the starring role?
Loris Curci: That’s an easy one. Robert Englund would be my star. I have worked with him several times and he’s well aware of my fears. Drowning and surrounded by sharks would be my film. Not very original there ?
