Insidious 3 Clip

So we’re getting more and more excited about the impending release of Insidious 3 (aka Insidious: Chapter 3) (June 5th in the US and UK) and it’s gotten to that stage where we’re hungrily lapping up any sneak peeks and clips that we can find.

We were very happy then to see this clip, which was initially screened at Wondercon in Anaheim, just a few days ago.

If you’re yet to hear the details, the third chapter is actually a prequel, set before the evil entity from the previous films has set his sights on the Lambert family.

This time around we follow our favourite Insidious psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) as she tries to help a teenage girl who is being tagetted by a demon of some sort.

The film stars young starlett Stefanie Scott (from series A.N.T. Farm) and Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding) and also sees the return (although it seems a bit weird to call it that in a prequel) of Specs and Tucker, Elise’s partners in mediumship played by writer Leigh Whannell and Angus Sampson respectively.

Fans of the Insidious franchise will undoubtedly be excited at the prospect of finding out what makes Elise tick and Insidious 3 promises more jumps and scares than ever before.
