The 25th edition of Pigeon Shrine FrightFest is set to deliver an exhilarating blend of horror and fantasy films, with the festival moving to a new venue, the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square. Running from Thursday, 22 August to Monday, 26 August, the event will take over all seven screens at the venue, promising an unforgettable experience for horror enthusiasts.

8:15 PM – Cinderella’s Curse (World Premiere) Directed by Louisa Warren and starring Kelly Ryan Sanson, Chrissie Wunna, Lauren Budd, and Natasha Tosini, this spine-chilling reimagining of the classic fairytale sees Cinderella summon her fairy godmother from an ancient book to exact bloody revenge on her tormentors.
10:35 PM – Carnage for Christmas (International Premiere) Directed by Alice Maio Mackay, this stylish horror features Jeremy Moineau, Olivia Deeble, Yassica Switakowski, and Dominique Booth. The film follows transgender podcaster Lola as she returns to her hometown only to face the ghost of a historical murderer.

3:40 PM – Scarlet Blue (UK Premiere) Directed by Aurélia Mengin, this French film stars Stefano Cassetti and Patricia Barzyk. It tells the story of Alter, a woman grappling with mental illness and seeking help from a mystical healer.
6:15 PM – The Bunker (International Premiere) Brian Hanson directs this alien invasion thriller featuring Chelsea Edmundson, Chad Michael Collins, Tobin Bell, and Tony Todd. The plot follows Dr. Michelle Reilly as she develops a bio-weapon in an underground bunker to fend off extraterrestrial threats.
8:45 PM – Children of The Wicker Man (World Premiere) This documentary, directed by Justin Hardy, Dominic Hardy, and Chris Nunn, delves into the making of the iconic film The Wicker Man, exploring its impact on the filmmakers and their family.
11:05 PM – Mutilator 2 (International Premiere) Directed by Buddy Cooper, this film revisits the slasher genre with a new killer targeting the cast of the original The Mutilator. The cast includes Terry Kiser, Eva Hamilton, and Chaney Morrow.
