‘Content’ Leads GrimmVision Digital Horror Line-Up

Four titles from the Grimmfest circuit are set for UK digital release over the coming weeks, as GrimmVision rolls out its latest slate of independent genre films. The selection includes Content, Self Driver, Shadows of Willow Cabin and Tribe, each arriving on different dates between late April and the end of May.Grimm Vision Content

First to launch is Content, which lands on 27 April following its festival screenings. Written, directed by and starring Adam Meilech, the film centres on an aspiring filmmaker who manipulates those around him in pursuit of his next project. The story unfolds through screens and devices, with Meilech playing AJ, a character who monitors his cast through hacked technology as events escalate beyond his control.

On 11 May, Michael Pierro’s Self Driver makes its UK debut. The film follows a struggling cab driver who signs up to a new ride-share app offering quick money, only to find the jobs becoming increasingly dangerous. Nathanael Chadwick leads the cast, with the production shot on location across Toronto using a guerrilla-style approach. The film previously screened at festivals where it received awards attention for both its direction and lead performance.

Two further titles will arrive on 25 May. Shadows of Willow Cabin, directed by Joe Fria, brings together elements of supernatural horror and romance. The film follows two men who retreat to an isolated cabin, where their relationship is tested by unexplained events linked to the building’s past. Fria, who has appeared in films including Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and The Belko Experiment, makes his feature directing debut with the project.

Also launching that day is Tribe, directed by Dan Asma. Presented through a mix of recorded footage and personal documentation, the film tracks a former lecturer investigating the death of a friend connected to a remote cult. Asma, who previously worked as a cinematographer on Fall, also takes a central role in front of the camera.

Tribe

GrimmVision, a joint venture between Trinity Content Partners and Grimmfest, launched in 2025 to provide a distribution route for independent genre films. All four titles will be available across UK digital platforms soon, so catch them while you can!
