This November, ARROW, the streaming service known for its curated cult classics, unveils a lineup guaranteed to thrill horror, martial arts, and niche film fans. Leading the charge are revered Shaw Brothers martial arts epics, a 4K restoration of Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, and a slate of cult horror shorts. ARROW is shining a spotlight on the legendary Shaw Brothers studio, whose wuxia films blend breathtaking martial arts choreography with tales of revenge, honour, and sacrifice. Beginning with The One-Armed Swordsman trilogy on November 4, ARROW introduces a collection of restored titles that include The 14 Amazons and The Lady Hermit, inviting viewers into the world of noble warriors and gravity-defying battles.

Elvira in 4K

Just in time for November’s dark nights, ARROW is resurrecting Elvira: Mistress of the Dark in stunning 4K on November 11. This 1988 cult classic stars Cassandra Peterson as the sassy, wisecracking Elvira, who finds herself at odds with a small town that isn’t ready for her brand of macabre humour. With Elvira’s sharp wit and endless one-liners, this newly restored version makes her horror-comedy more vivid than ever.

Japanese Horror and Cult Favourites

Horror fans can also look forward to Tomie, based on Junji Ito’s famed manga series. Releasing on November 18, Tomie centres on a haunting high school seductress whose deadly charms ensnare men, leading to chaos and bloodshed. This cult J-horror is joined by other international favourites, including Heidi Honeycutt’s curated selection of horror titles and short films from filmmakers such as Severance director James Moran. Jemma Moore Selects features picks from Host star Jemma Moore, including dark teen comedy Heathers.
