Sadie Katz Battles Demons in ‘The Beast Inside’

Uncork’d Entertainment has unveiled The Beast Inside, a gripping new horror film now available on digital platforms and on demand. Co-written by and starring Katz (Wrong Turn 6: The Last Resort, The Amityville Harvest), The Beast Inside tells the haunting story of Anne, a mother possessed by a demonic entity. When no one believes her pleas for help, Anne is forced to take drastic action—performing a self-exorcism to protect her young son from the sinister presence threatening their lives. The film not only delivers edge-of-your-seat horror but also examines the emotional toll of disbelief and isolation, mirroring real-world struggles faced by women whose fears and experiences are often dismissed.

Katz’s portrayal of Anne has been praised as both harrowing and empowering, capturing a mother’s fierce determination to shield her child from harm. Directed and co-written by Jim Towns (Killer Ex), the film also stars Vernon Wells (Mad Max) and Laurene Landon (Argamon’s Gate). Adding to the film’s impact is its atmospheric score by Randy Edelman, renowned for his iconic work on The Mask and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Edelman’s music amplifies the intensity and emotion, making Anne’s journey all the more gripping.
