Horror Favourites – A.T. Sharma
Director A.T Sharma has created a mind-bending psychological horror feature HYPNOTICA. The film, which premiered on the horror festival circuit last year is out now on digital and On Demand via Terror Films and we managed to pick his brain on what horror movie frightens him the most.
Adam Johnson from TV’s THE OUTPOST and YELLOWSTONE stars as a young psychiatrist tries hypnotism to save a patient but will soon wish to God he hadn’t. Frightening and thought-provoking, HYPNOTICA is be available on digital platforms now.
Below director, A.T. Sharma’s talks horror:
“Horror is like a fire, as much as it’s fascinating, you don’t want to get too close because it might warp your fragile neuronal network and deprive you of a couple nights of good sleep. That said, it’s a tough SOPHIE’S CHOICE for favorite. There’ve been several great horror films that have affected me but CARRIE stands out. It is, at its core, a story of isolation, rejection and a dysfunctional family. I was perhaps as horrified by these elements as much as the evil that manifested later. It is the TAXI DRIVER of horror movies.
Another nod goes to more recent, yet instant classics, THE WITCH and HEREDITARY, both absolutely engrossing. They gently build a world where there’s a little something off only to later pull the rug out from behind you so forcefully that you do a face plant straight into fear.”
Frightening and thought-provoking, HYPNOTICA is out now.
