Diane Kruger Returns With Psychological Thriller ‘Visions’
Dark Sky Films has released Visions, the latest psychological thriller from French filmmaker Yann Gozlan, with the film debuting on digital platforms on 12 December. The French-language feature stars Diane Kruger alongside Mathieu Kassovitz and Marta Nieto, and marks Gozlan’s latest exploration of obsession, secrecy and emotional fracture.

Set against the sunlit backdrop of the Côte d’Azur, Visions centres on Estelle, played by Kruger, a highly respected airline captain whose carefully ordered life begins to unravel. Estelle lives with her husband Guillaume, a successful doctor portrayed by Kassovitz, and appears to have achieved both professional and personal stability. That balance shifts when she encounters Ana, a photographer played by Nieto, triggering a renewed and increasingly consuming affair.
The film positions itself as a psychological thriller concerned with the tension between public image and private desire. As Estelle attempts to manage the consequences of the relationship, the boundaries between truth, perception and control begin to blur. The story unfolds within a heightened emotional space, using glamour and proximity as counterpoints to secrecy and mistrust.

Visions is directed by Gozlan, whose previous work includes Black Box and Burn Out. The screenplay is credited to Michel Fessler, Aurélie Valat, Jean Baptiste Delafon and Gozlan, with additional collaboration from Audrey Diwan, based on an original concept by Fessler. The creative team continues Gozlan’s interest in psychological pressure points, this time filtered through intimacy rather than action or procedural mechanics.
Kruger leads the film as Estelle, a role that places her at the centre of the story’s shifting emotional dynamics. Kassovitz and Nieto play key figures in Estelle’s personal orbit, with the supporting cast also including Amira Casar, Grégory Fitoussi and Élodie Navarre. Together, the characters populate a world where professional success and private vulnerability exist in uneasy proximity.

Produced by SND, Eagle Team Entertainment and 24 25 Films, Visions is distributed in the US by Dark Sky Films. The release adds another international title to Dark Sky’s catalogue of genre-led thrillers and psychological dramas. The film is available now on digital platforms.
