Blood, Gore, and Cult Classics – NYX UK’s March Schedule

Horror streaming channel NYX UK is set to deliver a packed month of blood-curdling delights this March, including a tribute to the legendary David Cronenberg, a chilling nod to Nosferatu’s 102nd anniversary, and a slate of UK TV premieres. From real-life horrors to cult classics, the channel is gearing up for a month of terror that celebrates both established legends and emerging talent in the genre.

Marking International Women’s Day on March 8, NYX UK will present the channel premiere of Devanny Pinn’s The Black Mass at 9pm, a harrowing look at the 1978 sorority house attacks committed by Ted Bundy. Pinn’s take on the case shifts the perspective away from the killer, instead focusing on the victims and their horrific ordeal. Following this, at 10:45pm, NYX will air Luna Wolf’s short film Siren, a psychological horror piece exploring identity and trauma through an unnerving and deeply personal lens.

A week later, on March 15, NYX UK will honour the master of body horror, David Cronenberg, in celebration of his 82nd birthday. The tribute kicks off at 9pm with his breakout feature Shivers, a disturbing tale of scientific experimentation gone horribly wrong, followed by Rabid at 11pm, the gruesome 1977 film that helped define his signature style of body transformation and infection horror.

The month’s schedule also includes a special screening of F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu on March 4 at 9pm, celebrating 102 years of one of the most influential horror films ever made. The silent-era classic remains a terrifying spectacle, and with Robert Eggers’ highly anticipated remake receiving Oscar recognition this year, Nosferatu is as relevant as ever.

Among the channel’s premieres, March 7 sees the arrival of cult horror web series The Chainsaw Sally Show, airing Fridays at 11:30pm. The blood-soaked grindhouse series stars April Burril as a small-town librarian with a lethal secret—by night, she transforms into a chainsaw-wielding vigilante delivering brutal justice. Meanwhile, NYX’s regular series continue their run, with Galvaston’s Cavern of Creeps airing Night of the Demon (March 13, 7pm) and Cars That Ate Paris (March 20, 7pm), while Dark Rewind dives into 80s horror with Chopping Mall (March 18, 9pm) and Incubus (March 25, 9pm).

The month will also feature six more UK premieres, including Anthony DiBlasi’s Clive Barker adaptation Dread (March 21, 9pm), Diego Cohen’s disturbing Mexican horror Honeymoon (March 20, 9pm), and vampire classic Count Yorga, Vampire (March 3, 9pm). Other notable titles include GNAW (March 6, 9pm), which blends Saw and Hostel-style torture horror, Christopher Lee’s The Bloody Judge (March 10, 9pm), and indie vampire thriller Midnight Son (March 13, 9pm).
