Horror Heaven Awaits on NYX TV with ‘Big Bad Wolves’ and other Bloody Classics
Horror streaming platform NYX TV UK has unveiled a packed February 2025 lineup, promising a thrilling blend of psychological thrillers, cult classics, and supernatural chills. Leading the charge is the Channel premiere of Big Bad Wolves, the provocative Israeli psychological thriller from directors Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado. Praised for its blend of dark comedy and harrowing drama, the film will stream on Friday, February 21, at 9pm.

Often hailed as one of the most thought-provoking psychological horror films of the past decade, Big Bad Wolves has earned critical acclaim worldwide. Its intense exploration of morality and revenge is sure to captivate audiences as the headline feature for this month’s offerings.
NYX TV UK’s February slate also includes ten additional Channel premieres, covering a range of genres and eras to satisfy horror fans of all kinds. Among the highlights is a tribute to the “Godfather of Gore,” Herschell Gordon Lewis, with screenings of his legendary splatter films Two Thousand Maniacs! (February 24) and The Wizard of Gore (February 19). Fans of campy zombie horror can enjoy Bob Clarke’s cult favourite Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things on February 23, while Jeff Lieberman’s grotesque worm-infested thriller Squirm closes the month on February 28.

Classic European horror is also well represented. Jesús Franco’s erotically charged Lorna the Exorcist will air on Valentine’s Day, February 14, and Lucio Fulci’s atmospheric supernatural chiller The Psychic follows on February 20. British horror from the 1950s makes an appearance with Val Guest’s Quatermass 2 and The Abominable Snowman, presented by FrightFest Saturday Night Scares with Alan Jones.
Another standout is The Norlis Tapes, an eerie supernatural TV movie from director Dan Curtis (Dark Shadows), set to premiere on February 27. Meanwhile, sci-fi horror fans can revisit Charles Band’s cult Parasite on February 26, a nostalgic nod to his early work before the Puppetmaster series.

Fans of retro horror-comedy will be delighted by the continuation of Galvaston’s Cavern of Creeps. This snarky demon’s misadventures in unleashing the apocalypse while befriending a horror-obsessed human continue every Thursday night at 7pm. February’s episodes include Channel premieres of Roger Corman’s The Wasp Woman and Fred F. Sears’ The Giant Claw.
NYX TV UK, which launched in late 2022, has rapidly established itself as a go-to destination for horror enthusiasts. The platform’s carefully curated content spans decades of genre filmmaking, showcasing both iconic and overlooked titles. The February schedule underscores NYX’s dedication to delivering diverse programming, ranging from visceral exploitation classics to psychological thrillers and gothic terrors.
