Monsters, Mayhem, and Melting Flesh Await on Screambox This November
Screambox, the horror streaming service known for its unique blend of cult favourites and exclusive horror gems, has announced a chilling line-up for November. With a mix of new releases, indie anthologies, and cult classics, Screambox promises a month of supernatural frights and gruesome thrills for horror fans, beginning with Cryptids on November 5.

One of the most anticipated additions this month is Cryptids, a horror anthology featuring legendary horror host Joe Bob Briggs as a paranormal radio show host. Debuting exclusively on Screambox, Cryptids explores mythical monsters through a series of eerie tales involving Bigfoot, Frogman, Chupacabra, and more. With each segment spotlighting a different creature, the anthology is bound to satisfy fans of cryptozoology and late-night scares.

On November 12, the Screambox Exclusive Devon dives into the realm of found footage horror. Directed by Jersey Shore’s Jenni “JWoww” Farley in her first foray behind the camera, Devon follows five adventurers searching for a missing girl in an abandoned asylum. The atmospheric, handheld style adds a raw layer to the film’s already haunting premise, making it a must-watch for fans of ghost-hunting thrillers and found footage suspense.

One of November’s more notorious releases, Street Trash—landing on Screambox on November 19—takes horror back to the gritty, gore-filled days of 1980s splatter cinema. Known for its over-the-top practical effects and shocking visuals, this 1987 cult classic follows the grotesque mishaps of homeless men consuming a toxic alcoholic beverage that causes them to melt into a mess of vivid colours. Screambox’s release of Street Trash also serves as a precursor to the Screambox Original reboot scheduled for December, introducing a new generation to the film’s chaotic style.
Closing out the month with some dark humour, the horror-comedy Cottage Country arrives on November 29. Starring Malin Akerman and Tyler Labine, the film sees the couple’s plans for a quiet getaway spiralling out of control after a bloody encounter that threatens to ruin their “perfect” wedding. With a blend of laughs and grisly twists, Cottage Country offers a unique take on the wedding-from-hell scenario.

Screambox’s November line-up also includes a diverse selection of lesser-known thrillers and horror films, perfect for fans looking to expand their watchlist. The Wolf Hour, starring Naomi Watts as a reclusive woman living in a claustrophobic apartment during a citywide blackout, delivers a tense psychological thriller experience. Ghost Note, set during Thanksgiving, brings a chilling twist to the holiday, while Danish thriller The Model, featuring Ed Skrein, explores the darker side of the fashion industry. The Raking, inspired by the internet’s creepy pasta phenomena, taps into the folklore of rural horror, and The American Scream takes a documentary approach to explore the subculture of homemade haunted houses.
Screambox is available across major platforms, including iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Prime Video. For more info, visit screambox.com/
