‘Them: The Scare’ Takes Horror to 90s Los Angeles

Prime Video is gearing up to terrify audiences worldwide with the debut of its first-look images for the highly anticipated horror anthology series, Them: The Scare. Scheduled for a global release on Thursday, April 25, 2024, this riveting second installment will immerse viewers in eight episodes of unparalleled horror, available in over 240 countries and territories.
Following the critically acclaimed first installment, Covenant, set in 1952 Compton, Them: The Scare shifts the eerie narrative to Los Angeles in 1991. This season introduces LAPD Homicide Detective Dawn Reeve as she tackles the horrifying murder of a foster home mother. The case not only tests her resolve but also seems to draw her and her family into a terrifying, otherworldly presence.
Little Marvin, the visionary creator, executive producer, and showrunner, shared his enthusiasm for the new series: “With Them: The Scare, we’ve blended our passion for horror with an exploration of Los Angeles’s dynamic past and cultural milestones of the 90s. The series boasts a stellar cast, featuring the return of Deborah Ayorinde in a brand-new role, alongside Luke James, whose performance is tipped to be unforgettable.
