A couple of weeks back, we revealed some news about Art the Clown’s return in Terrifier 3, an Autumn 2024 release with a Christmas theme. Now we’re excited to share the teaser trailer for the film.
The preview, which first terrified audiences in theaters alongside the re-release of Terrifier 2 on November 1, has already set the stage for a horrifying Christmas Eve rampage.
Directed and written by Damien Leone, Terrifier 3 is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on October 25, 2024. The sadistic clown, portrayed once again by the talented David Howard Thornton, will sow chaos among the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on what should be a silent night.
This installment comes on the heels of Terrifier 2, which stormed theaters in 2022, amassing over $11 million in domestic box office and securing a spot as the #5 grossing film upon its re-release. Certified Fresh by Rotten Tomatoes, the film garnered widespread attention, with Variety noting that it “inspired horror fiends and skeptics alike to flock to local cinemas,” and The New York Times dubbing it “the most talked-about horror movie this Halloween.”
The cast of Terrifier 2, including Lauren LaVera, Elliott Fullam, Samantha Scaffidi, Felissa Rose, and pro wrestling superstar Chris Jericho, will reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel.
Director Damien Leone promises to push boundaries in Terrifier 3, stating, “In a cinematic landscape where risk-taking is scarce, I will continue to push boundaries in Terrifier 3, and I can’t wait for you to see what’s in store for Art the Clown.”
Brad Miska, Managing Director of Bloody Disgusting, adds, “Terrifier 3 is going to have nastier kills, a bigger budget, and an even crazier storyline,” emphasizing the franchise’s commitment to delivering precisely what horror fans desire.
