Werewolf Santa to Screen at FrightFest 2023

It might only be August, the team behind Werewolf Santa clearly wants us to get in mood for Christmas early ahead of their film’s screening at Frightfest 2023.
Directed by Airell Anthony Hayles, this uproarious Christmas horror-comedy promises a fur-ocious twist on the jolliest man of them all – old Saint Nick.
The film unfurls around a hair-raising turn of events, as it follows Lucy, a fearless monster hunter portrayed by horror icon Emily Booth, as she stumbles upon a monstrous Yuletide secret. Lucy’s lackluster social media channel, dedicated to exposing actual monsters, takes a thrilling turn when her camera captures the moment Santa Claus (played by Cory Peterson) is bitten by a werewolf on Christmas Eve. The result? The birth of the one and only Werewolf Santa.
The seaside town, once a serene haven for holiday cheer, is plunged into chaos as the newly transformed Werewolf Santa embarks on a blood-soaked spree. Amid the crimson tides, Lucy and her squabbling family embark on a madcap mission to vanquish the beast and save the most magical day of the year.

Werewolf Santa is poised to unleash a ho-ho-howl load of festive laughs and scares. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Mark Arnold, well known for his role in the classic 1985 werewolf comedy – Teen Wolf, Katherine Rodden, and the legendary voice of Joe Bob Briggs (Shudder).
Director Airell Anthony Hayles expressed his enthusiasm for the project, citing a love for Christmas horror films and an exhilarating collaboration with a cast that brings this hair-raising tale to life. Hayles exclaimed, “To work with this cast on such a crazy story really is another nightmare come true.”
The film arrives at the perfect time, as Christmas horror gains momentum as a distinct and beloved genre. Werewolf Santa offers a unique blend of festive merriment and spine-tingling chills, catering to those who want a dash of fright with their holiday festivities.
As the countdown to FrightFest 2023 begins, Werewolf Santa is bound to sink its teeth into the hearts of horror fans and Christmas enthusiasts alike. Stay tuned to Love Horror for more updates on the films release and join the howl-iday spirit with Werewolf Santa.
