One of the standout offerings this month is the Shudder Original series, Slasher: Ripper. Set in the late 19th century, the series stars Eric McCormack as a tycoon overseeing a city on the brink of a social upheaval. But when a killer dubbed The Widow starts targeting the rich and powerful, newly promoted detective Kenneth Rijkers must stop them before it’s too late. The series premieres on May 4th, with the final episodes airing on May 11th.

If you’re looking for a bone-chilling film, Huesera: The Bone Woman will premiere on May 12th. Starring Sonia Couoh, Alfonso Dosal, and Mayra Batalla, the film follows a pregnant woman who realises that something is off when she’s not as happy as an expectant mother should be.
On May 22nd, horror fans can tune in to the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards 2023. But as their relationship takes a darker turn, Madison realizes that things are not as they seem. Influencer will premiere on May 26th.
