Nicolas Cage Returns to the Small Screen in Arrow’s Cage Rage Season

Arrow Video has announced the Cage Rage season, a triple bill of films featuring the Oscar-winning meme icon and cult hero Nicolas Cage. The three films included are horror mystery Pay the Ghost, comedy Army of One and thriller Inconceivable. The Cage Rage season will be available to stream on Arrow Video from April.

Army of One is a mostly true story of Gary Faulkner, played by Nicolas Cage, an ex-con, unemployed handyman, and modern-day Don Quixote who sets out on an unlikely mission to capture Osama Bin Laden and bring him to justice. Armed only with a Samurai sword purchased from a home-shopping network and the belief that he is following the express command of God, played by Russell Brand, he travels to Pakistan. Along the way, he is joined by old friends back home in Colorado, new friends he makes in Pakistan, and some new enemies he makes at the CIA. Both God and Osama themselves are inspired and forever changed by coming in contact with such a force of nature as Gary.

Inconceivable is a slick thriller in which Katie, played by Nicky Whelan, moves to town with her young daughter to start a new life after enduring abuse in her past. She quickly befriends another mother, Angela, played by Gina Gershon, and her husband Brian, played by Nicolas Cage. She is soon chosen by the couple to become the surrogate mother for their long-desired child. However, the couple is unaware that Katie is hiding a dark secret about her past that may have fatal consequences for them and their child.

Finally, Pay the Ghost sees Nicolas Cage playing Mike, a father who is haunted by terrifying visions of his son, who disappeared almost a year ago on Halloween night in New York City. He becomes desperate but determined not to let go and researches all the cases of missing children in the city, coming to a horrifying conclusion. He bombards the detective in charge of the case with his theories, finally reuniting with his estranged wife, played by Sarah Wayne Callies, to explain what he now believes. They must recover their son within a short window of time on All Hallows Eve, or he will be lost to the spirit world forever.

Fans of Nicolas Cage will not want to miss the Cage Rage season, which will be available to stream on Arrow Video from April.
