New Cast Poster for Scream

While many of us are busy buying presents, getting merry and trying to make sense of ever changing Covid rules, there are still many horror fans out there that remain focussed on something significant beyond the festive season.

Scream (2022) is hitting screens on 14 January and we can’t get enough of the tantalising impages, posters and trailers. This week, a new cast poster hit our mailbox – you can view it below:

Scream 2022

The standout feature of the poster is the line ‘The Killer is on this Poster’ which suggests, as is usually the case in Scream films, the culprit will be a main character throughout. The question is, who is your money on?

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. Neve Campbell (“Sidney Prescott”), Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) and David Arquette (“Dewey Riley”) return to their iconic roles in Scream alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar.

Scream is set to be an early horror hit in 2022 with appreciation for the 1996 film at a high, and the prospect of so many original cast members being back together on screen.
