When musician, producer Kym Fowley became critically ill, he knew exactly what he wanted to happen to his earthly body after his demise. He wanted a naked model to writhe about on it.
Fowley was a big fan of the contraversial magazine Girls and Corpses, a publicaton that features models in states of undress posing alongside real cadavers. After building a close relationship with the editors of the magazine, Fowley attended various related events and wrote for the magazine. It was then that he made it clear that he was cool with the whole ‘sexy ladies and dead people gig’.
Before his death, Kym agreed terms in his will that would allow his preserved body to be taken to the Girls and Corpses offices (which house a special facility for these shoots) and have his last photos taken before being laid to rest.
Model Jin N Tonic explained “I thought the body would smell. But it was really cold where we shot so it wasn’t too bad.”
Girls and Corpses Publisher/’Deaditor’-In-Chief stated “I’m happy to fulfill Kim Fowley’s dying wishes, as odd as they were.”
