Shriekfest 2012 wants your movies!

If you’re a horror/sci-fi movie maker, you should seriously consider submitting your content to Shriekfest.

The Horror/SciFi Film Festival continues its tradition Shriekfestas Los Angeles’ Premier horror film event, presenting an awesome selection of films each year, and of course screening them at the heart of the world of film – LA.

Shriekfest draws in over 5,000 attendees each year and is a great place to network with those in the industry. ‘Both established and emerging filmmakers gain media exposure, connect with the region’s diverse audiences, and participate in an acclaimed event attended by industry professionals as well as horror and scifi fans’. Shriekfest has also welcomed numerous indie icons into its family since it started back in 2001.

As well as being an entertaining event for those who love the horror/sci-fi genres, it’s also a great place to get your stuff discovered. In short, THEY WANT YOUR STUFF!

They’re looking for new and original films and screenplays and are accepting films/screenplays in seven categories: narrative feature, narrative short, narrative super short, webisodes, feature screenplay, short screenplay, and original song.

Best of all, they will be awarding prizes to the winning filmmaker in each category.
