Beat the Heat With ‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ on Disney+
Just in time for the summer heatwave, one of this year’s biggest horror sequels has made the jump from cinemas to streaming. Searchlight Pictures’ Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is now available to watch on Disney+, giving audiences another chance to see Samara Weaving return as the battle-scarred Grace in a sequel that expands the deadly mythology introduced in the 2019 original.

Launching on Disney+ from 2 July, the film follows its successful theatrical run and arrives only weeks after its physical media release on Blu-ray and DVD. Directed once again by Radio Silence filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the sequel raises the stakes by placing Grace at the centre of another murderous contest, this time involving multiple rival families competing for control of the mysterious High Seat of the Council.
Weaving reprises the role that helped establish Ready or Not as a modern horror favourite, joined by Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Nestor Carbonell, David Cronenberg and Elijah Wood. The sequel sees Grace reunited with her estranged sister before both women are drawn into another brutal game where survival depends on staying one step ahead of their pursuers.
Rather than simply revisiting the original’s premise, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come broadens the world surrounding the Le Domas family, introducing new players and fresh twists while maintaining the dark humour and escalating violence that defined its predecessor.
The film has also been well received by audiences, earning a Verified Hot 90 per cent Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes. That response continues the momentum established by the first Ready or Not, which developed a devoted following thanks to its sharp blend of satire, suspense and inventive set pieces.

Collectors can also pick up the film on Blu-ray and DVD, with the physical release including a selection of bonus features. Among them are behind-the-scenes discussions with the directors and cast, alongside featurettes exploring the production’s use of practical effects and the choreography behind its elaborate death sequences.
With its Disney+ debut now underway, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is available to stream immediately, while the Blu-ray and DVD editions are available now from UK retailers.
