‘Game’ Brings Found-Footage Carnage to BloodStream this June
Streaming platform BloodStream is preparing to launch one of its most extreme acquisitions to date with the release of the five-part found-footage slasher series Game, arriving exclusively on the service from 1 June 2026.

Announced through Fangoria, the deal includes Game001, Game002, Game003, Game004 and Game005, all directed by the mysterious filmmaker credited only as Playgame Tipplayer. Very little is known about the creator behind the series, with no verified public identity attached to the name. Online speculation has ranged from claims that Tipplayer is a disgraced influencer to theories suggesting the alias is shared by multiple collaborators operating anonymously.
That uncertainty appears central to the films themselves. According to BloodStream, the Game series explores themes of surveillance, online performance, internet fame and voyeurism through a fragmented slasher framework involving two female hikers stalked through a remote woodland by a masked killer. Across the five films, perspectives repeatedly shift between victims, perpetrators and recorded footage, blending traditional widescreen cinematography with vertical phone recordings and distorted digital imagery.
The distributor describes the result as a deliberately disorientating experience where filming and violence become inseparable. Characters document attacks, manipulate footage and perform for unseen audiences while the films themselves blur the line between observer and participant.
BloodStream programmer Heidi Honeycutt said the platform’s interest in the project came from its confrontational approach to genre filmmaking.
“BloodStream is committed to releasing violent, uncompromising, forward-thinking new films that aren’t available anywhere else,” Honeycutt said. “We want to push boundaries, and the Game series is another step in that direction. I hope horror fans appreciate access to something this gruesome and unapologetically exploitative.”

Promotional material released alongside the announcement further leans into the project’s unsettling digital identity. One statement attributed to Playgame Tipplayer reads: “Anyone can wear the mask. I just never take mine off. You think you’re watching me, but I’m watching you.”
The films reportedly contain graphic violence, nudity and strong language, with BloodStream positioning the series strictly for adult audiences. The platform has increasingly focused on provocative independent horror releases, previously hosting titles including Slaxx, Fresh Meat and Last Chance Motel through parent label The Horror Collective.
While found-footage horror remains crowded territory, the Game franchise appears designed around internet culture and modern content obsession rather than conventional slasher nostalgia. All five instalments in the Game franchise will debut exclusively on BloodStream on 1 June before expanding to additional platforms from 1 August 2026.
