Shudder Reveals Packed June Slate Featuring ‘Find Your Friends’

Desert paranoia, supernatural family trauma and the return of one of horror television’s most recognisable hosts headline Shudder’s June programming slate for the UK and Ireland, with the streaming platform confirming a mixture of original premieres, catalogue additions and classic anthology horror arriving throughout the month.

Find Your Friends Shudder

Leading the line-up is Find Your Friends, a new Shudder Original premiering on 12 June. Directed as a survival thriller rooted in friendship fractures and escalating violence, the film follows five women who leave Los Angeles for a getaway in Joshua Tree before becoming trapped in an increasingly hostile desert community. As tensions rise both within the group and with aggressive locals, the trip spirals into revenge-fuelled chaos. The cast includes Bella Thorne, Chloe Cherry, Helena Howard, Sophia Ali and Zion Moreno.

A week later, Shudder debuts The Voices of Our Mother on 19 June. Directed by and starring Mark O’Brien, the supernatural horror centres on Harriet Scaflen, played by Sheila McCarthy, whose declining health after the death of her mother forces her estranged children back into the family home. What begins as an uneasy reunion gradually develops into something darker as the family suspects a supernatural force may have attached itself to Harriet. O’Brien, known for Ready or Not and Halt and Catch Fire, co-stars alongside McCarthy.

Shudder’s June schedule also revives Tales From the Crypt, with Seasons 6 and 7 arriving exclusively on the platform on 5 June and 12 June respectively. The long-running anthology series, adapted from EC Comics, remains one of horror television’s defining titles of the 1990s, combining black comedy, graphic violence and moral punishment under the guidance of John Kassir’s wisecracking Crypt Keeper.

The returning seasons feature an extensive collection of guest stars including Brad Pitt, Demi Moore, Steve Buscemi, Christopher Reeve, Catherine O’Hara and John Lithgow. Behind the camera, episodes were directed by figures such as Robert Zemeckis, Tobe Hooper, William Friedkin, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Hanks and Michael J. Fox.

Jack Be Nimble Shudder

Alongside its exclusive premieres, Shudder is also expanding its library with several additional genre titles throughout June. Arriving on 1 June is Jack Be Nimble, the New Zealand horror film about separated twins reconnecting through psychic visions and violent trauma. French sci-fi fantasy After Blue also joins the service the same day, transporting viewers to a distant planet inhabited exclusively by women. Argentine horror Murder Me Monster, focused on a decapitation investigation tied to folklore and paranoia, rounds out the early June additions.

Later in the month, Cannibal Mukbang arrives on 15 June. The horror-drama examines obsession, revenge and intimacy through the story of a relationship shaped by food and violence.

The June schedule continues Shudder’s steady investment in original productions and curated catalogue programming, following recent exclusives including The Ugly Stepsister, Good Boy and anthology series Hell Motel.

The full line-up will be available throughout June, with all titles accessible via Shudder across supported platforms. For more information and to watch Shudder, visit: www.shudder.com/
