Horror Favourites – From A House On Willow Street

Starring Carlyn Burchell as the formidably fearsome Katherine, a hapless victim turned horrific foe, and genre favourite Sharni Vinson (You’re Next), From A House On Willow Street has a brilliant premise – mixing the thrills of Don’t Breath and The Collector, with the supernatural chills of The Last Exorcism, and the weird and wild single location terrors of The Void – and is executed with devilish assurance.

At last years FrightFest I got to talk to From A House On Willow Street’s writer and director Alastair Orr plus producer and star Zino Ventura and amongst other things I got them to tell me their Horror Favourites.

Writer and Director Alastair Orr – “My favorite horror film is Silence of the Lambs. Its like a true life horror story. You know it’s not far fetched. I would love to do something like that. I just love it.”

Star and Producer Zino Ventura – “Mine would be Nightmare on Elm Street. I think I was the right age when it came out and it scared the living shot out of me. If you say to me horror movie that the first thing I think about, that face. I think in terms of make-up and prosthetics that where we went in From a House on Willow Street with that kind of genre. Even our poster has that look to it!”

From A House On Willow Street is on DVD & Digital Download 2nd October 2017
