Escaped Convicts Face a Deadly Curse in ‘Bad Voodoo’
A new supernatural thriller steeped in grief, vengeance and dark folklore is preparing to make its digital debut in the UK this month. Bad Voodoo, directed by Andrew Adler and Andre Hepburn, arrives on digital platforms on 16 March courtesy of Miracle Media, with a newly released trailer offering the first glimpse of the film’s eerie blend of psychological horror and occult retribution.

Starring Cristina Moody, Justin Genna, Manny Pérez and John Fiore, the film centres on a violent chain of events triggered when four escaped convicts break into what they believe is an ideal hideout. Instead, the fugitives stumble into a house haunted not only by tragedy but by supernatural forces born from grief and anger.
At the centre of the story is Abigail Bellamy, played by Moody, a mother whose life was shattered after the deaths of her two daughters in a devastating car accident years earlier. Overwhelmed by sorrow and a desire for justice, Abigail and her husband John turned to forbidden rituals, summoning voodoo spirits in an attempt to punish those responsible for the tragedy.

When the criminals take refuge inside the family home, they unknowingly step into a place where those rituals still linger. What begins as a temporary sanctuary quickly becomes a nightmare as supernatural forces within the house begin to close in. As the night unfolds, the convicts discover they are not only facing a grieving mother but also the wrath of an unseen curse that feeds on guilt and blood.
The film blends elements of crime thriller with supernatural horror, exploring how unresolved loss can lead people toward dangerous paths. Rather than presenting the paranormal as an abstract threat, Bad Voodoo frames its haunting around human pain and the desire for retribution, turning the home itself into a trap where past actions demand a reckoning.

Cristina Moody leads the cast as Abigail, bringing intensity to a character shaped by grief and desperation. She is joined by Justin Genna, known for appearances in television drama including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, while Manny Pérez and John Fiore bring further weight to the story’s escalating tension. Behind the camera, Adler and Hepburn combine their experience across film and television with a script co-written by Devin Fearn.
Following its release in the United States, Bad Voodoo now prepares to reach UK audiences through digital platforms. The trailer for the film has now been released, offering a first glimpse at the supernatural chaos awaiting those who step into Abigail’s home.
Bad Voodoo arrives on UK digital platforms on 16 March 2026.
