British Thriller ‘Jitters’ Promises Twisted Tech Horror This March
A new British horror thriller is preparing to plug audiences into a deadly digital underworld as Jitters premieres on UK digital platforms on 16 March, with a US release following on 17 March via Miracle Media.

Directed and produced by Marc Zammit, the film blends psychological terror with contemporary anxieties around artificial intelligence and online culture. Written by George Willcox and produced by Aptitude, Jitters follows a veteran detective who discovers that a mysterious underground video game is far more than a disturbing internet rumour.
Fabrizio Santino leads the cast as Detective Collymore, a battle-scarred officer and single father haunted by personal regret. When he is assigned to investigate the unexplained death of a young woman, a case quietly dismissed as natural causes, Collymore senses something is amiss. His search for answers leads him into obscure online forums and whispered conversations about a shadowy simulation known as Jitters.

What begins as a fringe curiosity soon reveals itself as a sadistic AI-driven game that preys on its players’ most private terrors. As the detective digs deeper, the line between digital illusion and lived reality begins to fracture. The deeper Collymore ventures into the system, the clearer it becomes that this is not simply a twisted pastime but a lethal force capable of reaching into the real world.
Anto Sharp co-stars as Detective Harding, while Daniel Jordan takes on the unnerving title role of Jitters. The supporting cast includes Boo Miller, Jess Impiazzi, Lauren Budd, Richard Wisker, Ritchi Edwards and Chloe Hews, rounding out a production that aims to merge police procedural grit with high-concept horror.

For Zammit, whose previous credits include the fantasy horror Witch and socially conscious drama Homeless Ashes, Jitters marks another step in his evolution as a filmmaker determined to tackle contemporary themes through genre storytelling. With nearly two decades of acting experience across series such as The Bill, Law & Order, After You’ve Gone and Silent Witness, Zammit has steadily expanded his presence behind the camera through his company Skylark Vision.
The film positions artificial intelligence not as distant science fiction but as an immediate, invasive presence. Collymore’s investigation becomes as much an internal reckoning as an external pursuit, forcing him to confront his own buried fears if he hopes to protect his family.
Jitters will be available across UK digital platforms from 16 March 2026.
