LEGEND Brings ‘Scarface’ and ‘Cape Fear’ to February Schedules

LEGEND has announced its February 2026 schedule, unveiling a month of channel premieres that place a spotlight on influential directors and star-driven films from across crime, action and thriller cinema. Broadcasting on Sky, Virgin, Freeview and Freesat, the channel’s February offering brings together a run of titles led by performances from Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood and Tom Cruise.

The month opens on Sunday 1 February with the channel premiere of Scarface, Brian De Palma’s 1983 crime epic that charts the violent rise and fall of Cuban immigrant Tony Montana in Miami’s drug underworld. Al Pacino’s portrayal remains one of the defining screen turns of his career, and the film’s arrival on LEGEND anchors the month’s focus on director-led cinema.

Friday 6 February follows with Things to Do in Denver When You’re Dead, Gary Fleder’s offbeat crime drama starring Andy Garcia as a former gangster pulled back into danger by a final job gone wrong. The following evening sees the premiere of Equilibrium, Kurt Wimmer’s dystopian science fiction thriller led by Christian Bale and Emily Watson, set in a society where emotion itself is outlawed.

Political intrigue takes centre stage on Sunday 8 February with State of Play, Kevin Macdonald’s Washington-set thriller starring Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck and Helen Mirren. Later in the month, terrorism and large-scale spectacle drive John Frankenheimer’s Black Sunday, which airs on Thursday 12 February and remains notable for its depiction of an attack planned during the Super Bowl.

Saturday 14 February brings Man of Tai Chi, the directorial debut of Keanu Reeves, pairing martial arts action with a story of discipline tested by underground fighting. The following night features Martin Scorsese’s 1991 remake of Cape Fear, with De Niro as Max Cady in one of his most menacing roles.

The schedule continues with The Beguiled on Thursday 19 February, Donald Siegel’s Civil War-era psychological drama starring Eastwood, before shifting into modern survival thriller territory with No Escape on Saturday 21 February. Tom Cruise headlines American Made on Sunday 22 February, Doug Liman’s crime-inflected account of covert operations and smuggling in the 1980s.

Rounding out the month are Leigh Whannell’s technology-driven revenge thriller Upgrade on Thursday 26 February and Paul W S Anderson’s high-octane Death Race on Saturday 28 February. Together, the February line-up underscores LEGEND’s commitment to showcasing entertaining cinema shaped by distinctive directors and star performances… There’s something for everyone, so don’t miss out!
