Pub Quizzes, Killer Beers and Bloody Bingo This April at Werewolf Beer

Camden’s favourite den of beer, metal, and mischief is baring its fangs once more with a full-throttle month of events that promises to deliver more than just a buzz. Werewolf Beer, tucked under Arch 87 on Randolph Street, London, has unveiled its April schedule, and it’s brimming with comedy, chaos, quizzes, and cult horror. If you like your beer with a side of heavy metal and a dash of the bizarre, this one’s for you.

Werewolf Beer Camden

Things kick off on Friday the 4th with the return of the LMC Monthly Hang. Running from 5-9pm, it’s a chance for the London Metal Coalition to gather, sink pints, and talk riffs. It’s community-building the Werewolf way – loud, proud, and beer-soaked.

On Saturday the 12th, the brewery’s own beermancer Rich opens the gates to the inner sanctum for Brewery Tour & Beer Tasting with Rich. Expect behind-the-scenes brewing secrets and plenty of banter, all washed down with some of the freshest pours in London. Tickets are priced at £20 per person, and it’s unlikely to stay quiet for long.

The laughs get darker on Sunday the 13th, with Quiz Hell descending on Camden. Promising awkward dance moves and lounge tunes as part of the experience, it’s an anything-but-average pub quiz, helmed by the ever-chaotic Rich himself.

Mid-month madness continues on Wednesday the 16th with A Wolfman Walks Into a Bar Comedy Night, hosted by the Viking Metalhead comedian Lukey Newms. This is no slick Soho showcase—it’s unpredictable, homegrown humour laced with the weird and wonderful energy that makes Werewolf such a unique outpost on the craft beer circuit.

Closing out the month on Thursday the 24th is B-Horror Bingo Movie Night, a tongue-in-cheek screening of gloriously bad horror films paired with bingo cards covered in slasher clichés. There are goofy prizes on offer, and even more cringe-laughs to be had.

Thirsty punters can keep the good times flowing with Werewolf’s house taps including the Moonstomp rice lager, the Stray Cat citrus session ale, and the HorrorShow rye IPA. For the sober-curious or moderation-minded, low-ABV options from Mash Gang and cider from Against the Grain are also chilling in the fridge. There’s even a line of canned cocktails and enough charcuterie to line your stomach for the evening’s debauchery.

And when hunger hits hard, the taproom is slinging all-American hot dogs served with sass and a side of sarcasm – £6.25 solo or £10.50 with a pint in a not-so-evil meal deal. Additional snack options include beef jerky, pretzels, pickles and other pub classics.

Werewolf Beer Camden

Werewolf Beer is more than a brewery. It’s part taproom, part haunt, and part misfit clubhouse, created by founder Rich White – a New York transplant with a love for old-school American craft beer and the kind of attitude that wouldn’t last long in a boardroom. With clear, bitter, balanced beers and a manifesto rooted in fairness, inclusivity, and raucous good times, it’s no wonder Werewolf has carved out its own cult status in the capital’s craft scene.

The venue operates Wednesday to Sunday, with closures on Mondays and Tuesdays – though if the ghost train in the taproom ever comes to life, that might change.

For more details, or to pre-book tastings and comedy events, check out Werewolf Beer’s website or simply drop in. Just bring your thirst, your weirdness, and maybe a friend who’s not afraid of  beer with a bite!
