Social Media Stars Face Real Horror in ‘Viral Haunt’
A new horror film is tapping into the digital age’s obsession with influencers and the supernatural. Viral Haunt, the latest project from UK-based TAW Entertainment, is bringing social media horror to the big screen, blending found-footage terror with psychological dread. Filming is underway, with the movie set to be distributed worldwide by ITN Distribution.

Directors Natasha Tosini and Stephen Staley helm the project, which follows a group of internet-famous ghost hunters as they attempt to silence accusations that their paranormal investigations are staged. Determined to prove their legitimacy, they embark on their most ambitious ghost hunt yet—only to discover that some hauntings are very real. The cast includes Kelly Rian Sanson, Danielle Scott, Jack Hoy, Jack Hyde, and Will Wickham, alongside Tosini and Staley, who also take on acting roles. Shooting has been taking place on location across the UK, making full use of eerie and atmospheric settings.
Producer Stephen Staley describes the film as a horror that places modern-day influencers in terrifying classic movie scenarios, forcing them to react to something beyond their control. Natasha Tosini adds that the film draws inspiration from The Uninvited and The Innocents, suggesting a psychological horror angle that plays with the perceptions of both the characters and the audience.

The film is the latest project from TAW Entertainment, a production company founded in 2024 by Tosini and Staley. Though newly established, the company is already making waves in the independent film scene, particularly in horror. Both founders come from an acting background, with Tosini gaining recognition for her role in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023), a viral horror sensation that turned a childhood icon into something far more sinister. Since then, she has appeared in films such as Snake Hotel, Three Blind Mice, and Cinderella’s Curse (2024). Staley has built a reputation in the genre with roles in Jurassic Valley, Curse of Jack Frost, The Viking Revenge, and Croc!, the latter of which premiered in London’s Leicester Square. His upcoming projects include Hook (2024), where he plays the title role.

Backing the project is ITN Distribution, a key player in independent genre film distribution. The company has helped bring numerous horror films to a global audience through VOD, streaming, and limited theatrical releases. With ITN involved, Viral Haunt has the potential to reach a wide audience, particularly within the growing British online horror market.
