Meet Horror Icons at Tampa Bay’s Free Scream Queen Halloween Event

Prepare for a Halloween night filled with scares, costumes, and scream queens at the Scream Queen Halloween Party, a special event for horror fans and Halloween lovers. Hosted by Tampa Bay Screams, OCC Road House, and Berts Barracuda Harley-Davidson, the Scream Queen Halloween Party will bring a touch of Hollywood horror to Clearwater. Horror fans will have the chance to meet three celebrated scream queens who have made their mark in the genre: Nancy Alexander, Krista Grotte Saxon, and April Hunter. Known for their roles in cult films and thrillers, these leading ladies will be available for meet-and-greet sessions, autograph signings, and will judge the evening’s costume contest.

Nancy Alexander, known for her work as an actress and TV/radio personality, is set to star in the upcoming horror movie Vampires in the Bungalow. Joining her will be Krista Grotte Saxon, star of H.G. Lewis’s The Uh-Oh! Show, the sci-fi thriller Brainjacked, and the horror anthology The Nightmare Collection. Rounding out the trio is actress and pro-wrestler April Hunter, who has starred in titles like The Clock, Gravedigger, and The Meat Puppet. Together, these scream queens bring a wealth of horror and cult movie experience to the Halloween event.

The festivities kick off at 6 PM with a scream queen meet-and-greet, giving fans a chance to get up close with their favourite horror icons and grab exclusive horror merchandise. At 7 PM, the live music begins, with rock band Handsome Devil setting the mood for a night of Halloween revelry. Then, at 8:45 PM, the scream queens will take centre stage to judge the costume contest, with prizes awarded to the most creative and terrifying outfits. Whether you’re dressed as a classic monster or a horror movie villain, the contest is sure to bring out the best in Halloween fashion.
