Today, Apple drops the first two episodes of Extrasensory, its latest Original podcast exploring the mind-bending themes of reincarnation, family secrets, and the supernatural. Narrated by BAFTA-winning actor Will Sharpe, known for his acclaimed role in The White Lotus, Extrasensory promises a compelling dive into the mysteries of life and death, with Episode 1, “The Prophet,” and Episode 2, “One White Crow,” setting the stage for this gripping new series.
In The Prophet, Extrasensory introduces listeners to the story of John Pollock, a milkman in 1950s England, who made a shocking prophecy that his two deceased daughters would be reborn. Initially dismissed as delusional, even by his wife Florence, Pollock’s prediction takes a strange turn when Florence later gives birth to twin girls. These twins not only resemble their lost sisters but also share memories and characteristics eerily similar to them, reigniting the debate over reincarnation and attracting the attention of a serious American academic. The episode sets up a compelling account of Pollock’s unwavering belief and his mission to prove that reincarnation is real.

The second episode, “One White Crow,” introduces Dr. Ian Stevenson, a prominent American professor whose fascination with reincarnation drives him to seek hard evidence to validate his research. Facing criticism and skepticism from his peers, Stevenson learns of the Pollock twins and journeys to England in the hope that their case might offer the definitive proof he seeks. As he delves into their lives, he finds surprising evidence that deepens his belief in the possibility of life after death.
Extrasensory, produced by Blanchard House, is set to release weekly episodes each Monday on Apple Podcasts, following the Pollock story and other paranormal phenomena that explore the boundaries of scientific understanding and spiritual beliefs. Sharpe’s narration promises to guide listeners through each twist and revelation with the intensity and introspection that fans of his work have come to expect.
