Bill Moseley and Kane Hodder Go Head-to-Head in ‘Hayride to Hell’
Fans of classic horror are in for a treat this autumn as Hayride to Hell, starring Bill Moseley and Kane Hodder, arrives on Digital and On Demand on 24 September, courtesy of Breaking Glass Pictures. With two of horror’s most iconic figures at the helm, this horror-comedy promises a bloody blend of revenge and dark humour that is sure to captivate fans of the genre.

Moseley, famed for his chilling roles in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and House of 1000 Corpses, takes centre stage as Farmer Sam. His character, driven to the brink by corrupt locals, sets out to take brutal revenge on those seeking to take over his family’s land. Joining Moseley is none other than Kane Hodder, best known for his portrayal of Jason Voorhees in four Friday the 13th films. Hodder plays Sheriff Jubel, one of the menacing forces trying to seize the farm, and his menacing on-screen presence adds a distinct level of tension to the film. The pairing of Moseley and Hodder, two legends of horror, promises an electrifying dynamic that will have audiences gripped from start to finish.
Directed by Dan Lantz (Alice and the Vampire Queen, Alpha Rift), Hayride to Hell blends dark humour with a blood-soaked revenge story. Written by Kristina Chadwick and Robert Lange, the film had its world premiere at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, in 2022, where it was met with positive reception. The film’s rural setting on Lange’s family-owned farm, which dates back to 1896, adds authenticity to the grim events that unfold. The farm, located in Lavern, Pennsylvania, provides the perfect eerie backdrop for a story where a family’s legacy is threatened, and violence quickly becomes the only way to settle the score.

Rich Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass Pictures, praised the film’s creators and cast: “We are thrilled to add Hayride to Hell to our roster of films. Kristina Chadwick and Robert Lange have crafted both a terrifying and exhilarating story, that we believe will resonate with horror fans around the world. With its talented cast and visceral storytelling, Hayride to Hell is a welcome addition to Breaking Glass Pictures’ catalogue.”
Aside from its leading stars, the cast also includes Graham Wolfe, Allyson Malandra, and Jared Michael Delaney, among others, who bring a mix of tension and comic relief to the film. The effects team, Impulse-FX, rounds out the experience with visceral, practical effects that elevate the horror elements, making the film a visual treat for genre fans.

Set against the atmospheric backdrop of Sugartown Strawberries Farm, Hayride to Hell promises a thrilling ride that fans of Moseley, Hodder, and revenge horror won’t want to miss. Watch the trailer now and prepare yourself for the ride of a lifetime when Hayride to Hell drops on 24 September.
