Pigeon Shrine FrightFest Debuts Sci-Fi Horror ‘Things Will Be Different’

Things Will Be Different 2024

The twisted sci-fi horror Things Will Be Different is set to make its UK premiere at this year’s Pigeon Shrine FrightFest on 23rd August, promising audiences a mind-bending experience that blurs the lines of space, time, and trust.

Directed by Michael Felker, this dark and gripping thriller follows estranged siblings Joseph and Sidney, portrayed by Adam David Thompson and Riley Dandy, as they attempt to lay low after a botched robbery. Their retreat to an abandoned farmhouse quickly takes a surreal turn when they find themselves trapped by a mysterious force that manipulates both time and their fraught relationship.

Produced by the team at Rustic Films, known for cult hits like Something In The Dirt and The Endless, Felker’s debut feature takes viewers on a disorienting journey through a landscape where nothing is as it seems, and survival hinges not just on escaping the law, but on confronting the deepest cracks in familial bonds. The film’s tension escalates as the siblings are pushed to the brink, forced to navigate an environment where the past, present, and future collide in ways that test their very sanity.
