Arrow, the alternative streaming service, is set to present an amazing line-up in May, featuring an outstanding crime thriller starring Margot Robbie, a rediscovered French classic, and a Yakuza masterpiece, among others. These and more are set to be highlights on the platform this month, according to a recent announcement.

One of the most anticipated films is Terminal, a crime neo-noir featuring a star-studded cast that includes Robbie, Simon Pegg, Mike Myers, Max Irons, and Dexter Fletcher. The film follows the intertwined lives of a pair of assassins, a teacher with a fatal illness, a janitor with a mysterious past, and a waitress leading a dangerous double life. These characters’ lives are all connected by a mysterious criminal mastermind with a thirst for revenge, leading to deadly consequences.

Another highly anticipated film set to make its debut in May is the controversial French crime movie A Woman Kills. Filmed in 1968 by Jean-Denis Bonan, this disturbing and unique gem of a film had been lost for 45 years until a 2K restoration brought it back to life. Arrow subscribers can now experience this new wave-influenced serial killer film that presents its story in an almost true-crime approach.

Also showing in May is Big Time Gambling Boss, a classic yakuza movie featuring Tomisabur? Wakayama, K?ji Tsuruta, and written by Kazuo Kasahara. It is an atmospheric tale of gangland intrigue that has been called a masterpiece by novelist Yukio Mishima and the richest and most complex film of its type by Taxi Driver writer Paul Schrader.

Additionally, Arrow will feature various seasons in May, including Molto Argento, a collection of murder masterpieces from Dario Argento, The Gore The Merrier, a splatter-filled festival featuring Arrow’s best bloody offerings, and P S Y C H O T R O N I C, a collection of wild films listed in Michael Weldon’s cult guide to the wildest movies ever made.

These, along with much more, will make May an unforgettable month for Arrow subscribers.
