The Lake Brings Creature Features to Small Screens This May

One of the best monster makers in the business, Jordu Schell (Cloverfield, The Thing, Starship Troopers, The Mist), has added his sprinkle of magic to the forthcoming Blu-Ray release The Lake.

When a mysterious monster rises from the Mekong River and attacks the small town of Bueng Kan, cutting off its inhabitants from the outside world, the situation quickly becomes dire. The creature is unlike anything anyone has seen before, and its attacks are both unpredictable and deadly.

Chinese scientists who were conducting research in Thailand become embroiled in the search for the monster. They bring with them their expertise and advanced equipment, but tensions rise as they clash with the locals who are skeptical of their methods.
