Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey set for UK and Irish Cinema Release

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, a new horror film that takes the beloved characters from A.A. Milne’s classic book in a new and terrifying direction, is set to hit select UK and Irish cinemas from March 10th. The film will receive its UK premiere at the sold-out Frightfest Glasgow screening.
Directed (and written) by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and filmed in the forest that inspired the original stories in Sussex, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey is not your typical Pooh bear story. It features intense, scary, and gruesome scenes with hot tub slayings, axe attacks, and thoroughly brutal behavior from Winnie and his woodland friends.
As Christopher Robin grows up and moves on, Winnie-The-Pooh and Piglet are left behind to fend for themselves. Over time, the two become wild with anger and frustration from being abandoned. With a newfound thirst for blood, Winnie-The-Pooh and Piglet embark on a hunt for a new source of food, leading to a shocking and brutal rampage.
The film tells the story of Christopher Robin’s return to the forest with his new wife, only to find that his old friends have turned into flesh-eating monsters.
This new re-imagining of the classic characters is intense, graphic, and not for children. The film has already created an online sensation, with a sequel already in the works. Get ready to have your childhood memories shattered and prepare for a thrill ride unlike anything you’ve seen before.
From March 10th, 2023, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey will be premiering in select UK & Irish cinemas. The film will also be available on other digital platforms, DVD, and Blu-Ray this spring.
