Finn Wolfhard, best known for his role as Mike Wheeler in the hit series “Stranger Things,” has taken a step behind the camera for his latest project. The actor has co-directed the upcoming horror-comedy film, “Hell of a Summer,” and has just revealed the first look at the highly anticipated movie.

Wolfhard took to Instagram to share the first-look image with his millions of followers, showing him and his co-star and co-director Billy Bryk in character, flashing torches at something mysterious. The post was accompanied with the caption, “It’s happening.”

While details of the plot are being kept under wraps, it has been confirmed that Fred Hechinger, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Abby Quinn, and Pardis Saremi will appear in supporting roles.

Away from his filmmaking endeavors, Wolfhard will soon be returning to his role as Mike Wheeler in the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things.” In a previous interview, Wolfhard spoke about the close bond between the cast, stating that they were like family and will always be there for each other.

Meanwhile, fans of the show are eagerly awaiting the final season, with Noah Schnapp teasing that viewers will receive closure on the topic of Will Byers’ sexuality in the final episodes.
