Tube Hell

Today, July 9th 2015, will forever more be remembered by Londoners as ‘the day that the tube workers went on strike and commuters got very angry’.

And understandably so. With the tubes out of action, people struggling to get to and from work were met by crowds, confusion and frustration as the remaining forms of transport buckled under the strain of increased numbers of people trying to get on board.

Thankfully though, some thoughtful individuals tried to make light of the situation using social media, creating a distraction for those caught in the turmoil.
