Green Inferno Gets the Green Light

Remember the Eli Roth cannibal movie that got Eli Roth Green infernolots of press then didn’t get released? Well, cannibal movie fans will be happy to hear that The Green Inferno will be released after all.

The film was pulled right at the last, after numerous press screenings and appearances at festivals. The reason for the postponement was administrative, with shufflings and difficulties with the previous distributor, Open Road.
Now the rights have been bought by Jason Blum’s Blumhouse BH Tilt label and Universal Pictures.

It’ll be released in US cinemas on 25th September and soon after across Europe.
