New Poster and Behind-the-Scenes Footage for Poltergeist
You can’t help but be excited about the Poltergeist re-boot.
There are already plenty of mixed feelings being displayed online about the film, particularly from devotees of the 1982 original. But whether you feel comfortable with the idea or not, you’ll still feel the need to see it.
A couple of new bits of press have arrived at our offices this morning to kick the week off with a spooky bang. First up is the new poster which you can see to the right >. It plays again on the iconic scene with Madison (the new Carol Anne) reaching out the the television screen which is literally pulsating with paranormal life.
It’s a big improvement on the last poster that came our way, which featured the creepy clown who, although menacing, didn’t really embody the ghostly theme of the film.
And if posters aren’t enough to keep your attention, an enjoyable featurette has now been made available ahead of the release.
This ‘behind-the-scenes’ video brings together some short scenes of the film and on camera conversation between producer Sam Raimi and Director, Gil Kenan. It’s a great vid showing them talk about why they decided to make the film and also includes some insight into what we can expect to see.
