Robert Englund Will Be Freddy Once More

When the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise was rebooted back in 2010 most of us wrote off the chance of ever seeing our traditional Freddy again.

But when it seemed as if Robert Englund had hung up his claws for good, we discovered that he will be Freddy again, one last time.

When Robert appears at the Chicago Horror Convention ‘Flashback Weekend’ he’ll be there in his full Freddy glory as legendary make up/SFX artist Robert Kurtzman will transform him – just the way he used to back in the day.

Though many of you were probably excited by news of this ‘last appearance’ and are now somewhat deflated as it won’t be a final, final Freddy film there is good news; If you can make it to the convention and are willing to pay, you can get your photo taken with Freddy. An opportunity not to be missed.
Although it doesn’t come cheap as a ‘Robert Englund “Freddy Krueger” Makeup Photo-Op Package’ will set you back $365.

It’s the stuff dreams are made of.
