Willow Creek Released on DVD

If you like a creature features and also have a fondness for the great outdoors, Willow Creek could be just what you’re looking for.

And you won’t have to wait long to get your willow-creekhands on it as this found footage foray into the forest gets a home release next month.

Willow Creek is directed by celebrated film-maker Bobcat Goldthwait (God Bless America, World’s Greatest Dad, Sleeping Dogs), and appeared at several festivals last year including Fantasia, Sitges and Frightfest. It was also named as the winner of Total Film’s Best Scare.

The story follows Jim (Bryce Johnson – Pretty Little Liars) and his girlfriend Kelly (Alexie Gilmore – Definitely, Maybe) who are visiting the infamous Willow Creek in search of Bigfoot. Legend has it that these huge ape-like creatures reside here and Jim and Kelly want proof.

Armed with a video camera, the pair are determined to find out whether these mysterious beings really exist or whether it’s all just a matter of folklore and superstition gone crazy.
Isolated from the human world and alone in the intimitdating dark woodland landscape neither Jim or Kelly are fully prepared for what awaits them.
