Well the 17th of June will see the release of Stakeland, a movie about a bunch of regular humans who have to come to terms with living in a world filled with vampires.
The main character is a teenage boy played by Connor Paolo (similar to the lead in Zombieland) and he owes much of his survival to a hardcore vampire killer named Mister (Nick Damici) – kind of like Woody Harrelson’s character in Zombieland.
The two travel the country picking up other humans in the hope to find some hope in this dark and desperate time.
Okay, they do seem a bit similar. Why they even opted for a similar sounding title is beyond me.
However, Stakeland isn’t a black comedy and has plenty of bloody action to keep you horror lovers happy.
