STUDIOCANAL unleashes Cold Storage, a gloriously gooey science-fiction horror comedy from producer Gavin Polone (Zombieland), director Jonny Campbell (Dracula) and legendary screenwriter David Koepp, whose credits include Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible and Spider-Man.

Following its Home Premiere release earlier this month, the film lands on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD from 11th May 2026, including a limited HMV Exclusive 4K edition featuring alternate artwork and four collectible art cards, with only 1,000 copies available.

Starring Joe Keery, Georgina Campbell and Liam Neeson, Cold Storage throws audiences into one catastrophic overnight shift where a mutating extraterrestrial fungus escapes containment and begins tearing through everything in its path.

Keery and Campbell play two ordinary storage facility employees suddenly forced into extraordinary circumstances when the deadly organism breaks free. Joining them is Neeson as a hardened bioterror operative who knows exactly how dangerous the situation really is. Together, they face a rapidly spreading nightmare that threatens not only the building, but humanity itself.

Equal parts creature feature, splatter comedy and old-school B-movie throwback, Cold Storage leans heavily into practical gore, frantic action and pitch-black humour. Alongside its monstrous fungal horrors, the film also features a memorable supporting cast including Lesley Manville and Vanessa Redgrave, the latter armed with a shotgun and facing down zombies, because apparently this film understands exactly what people want.

There is also, somehow, a mutant deer.

The result is a fast-moving sci-fi zom-com packed with gruesome kills, sharp dialogue and enough infectious chaos to satisfy fans of classic midnight horror cinema. With echoes of The Thing, Tremors and Shaun of the Dead, Cold Storage proudly embraces its ridiculous premise while delivering genuine tension and creature carnage.
