‘The Creep Tapes’ Season Two Brings Peachfuzz Back on Blu-ray
Peachfuzz returns with a new collection of unsettling recordings as The Creep Tapes Season Two prepares for its Blu-ray release on 1 June 2026. The latest instalment in the Creep franchise is already available to own on digital platforms, with Acorn Media International handling the physical release in the UK.
Created by Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass, the series continues the story established in Creep and Creep 2, with Duplass reprising his role as Josef, the unpredictable killer who documents his encounters on tape. Across six episodes, the second season introduces a new group of victims, each drawn into Josef’s carefully constructed scenarios.
The opening episode features a guest appearance from David Dastmalchian, known for Late Night with the Devil, who plays a copycat killer attempting to recreate Josef’s methods after discovering footage online. The storyline centres on the encounter between the two, setting the tone for the rest of the season.

Subsequent episodes shift focus to different situations, including a filmmaker investigating an eccentric figure at an animal sanctuary, a therapist whose methods raise suspicion during a Christmas Eve session, and a man trapped in an underground escape room forced to complete a series of challenges. Each scenario places Josef in a new identity, continuing the format established in earlier entries.
Katie Aselton also returns in the final episode, reprising her role as Josef’s sister Angela. Her appearance offers further insight into the character’s background, expanding on elements first introduced in the previous films.

The Creep series began in 2014 with the original film, followed by a sequel in 2017. Both were directed by Brice and written in collaboration with Duplass, earning a reputation for their low-budget, found footage-style approach and character-driven focus. The Creep Tapes extends that format into a multi-episode structure while maintaining the same core concept.
The Blu-ray edition will include additional material, such as a commentary track featuring Duplass, Brice and producer Chris Donlon.
The Creep Tapes Season Two is available on digital now, with the Blu-ray release set for early June.
