Win a Blu-ray copy of ‘The Creep Tapes: Season 2’

Spawned from the brilliantly macabre minds of Patrick Brice (The Overnight) and Mark Duplass (Safety Not Guaranteed, The Morning Show) – the creators and stars of innovative found-footage horror films Creep and Creep 2 – comes the critically acclaimed The Creep Tapes Season Two. Peachfuzz is back and even ‘more evil and unpredictable than before’ (Bloody Disgusting), with six new truly terrifying tapes of torture and chaos, upping the ante as we draw back the curtain on our favourite lupine killer once more and we have a copy for you to win below.

Shudder The Creep Tapes season 2

In true Creep style, each instalment finds a new victim to add to the tape collection of the devious and deranged murderer Peachfuzz (Duplass). The psychopath and his alter ego play with their prey in the most bizarre ways, revealing one supremely odd killer who relishes the awkwardness and terror of his unsuspecting victims.

The new series kicks off with an ingenious guest appearance that sees David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil) play copycat killer Joseph, who flips the script on the real Josef (Duplass) re-enacting moments from the original Creep tape, which he found on the dark web.

In episode two, we meet Wes (Diego Josef – The Ballad of Lefty Brown), who is shooting a TV pilot hosted by the utterly strange ‘realtor’ Trip Engold (Duplass). When Wes’ professionalism is called into question and tensions between the pair flare, police intervene, putting a spanner in the works of Peachfuzz’s killing spree.

The Creep Tapes Season Two

Inspired by Saw and Dexter, the third episode introduces Mark (Robert Longstreet – Midnight Mass), who wakes up in an elaborate underground escape room chained to another man (Duplass) and is forced to solve a series of puzzles.

Episode four sees filmmaker Ava believe she’s found the new Tiger King after meeting eccentric vegan David (Duplass) at an animal sanctuary. Hoping to create a salacious documentary, she interrogates her subject trying to unpack his trauma, but the malevolent murderer has other plans.

It’s time for festive fear in episode five as Nick (Timm Sharp – Enlightened) is confronted by his new therapist’s (Duplass) odd behaviour and experimental techniques – including Santa Claus roleplay and spiked soy nog – during an emergency session on Christmas Eve.

Katie Aselton (The Freebie) reprises her Creep role as Josef’s sister Angela in the season two finale as we are given more backstory on the unsettling upbringing of our unhinged killer and his equally disturbed sibling.
