The sun is out and the screaming is about to start, because the sensational 9th Annual Tampa Bay Screams Horror Convention is set to thrill horror and movie enthusiasts once again. The convention will take place from Friday, June 28th to Saturday, June 29th at the Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center, located at 4951 78th Ave. N. in the sunny Pinellas Park/St. Petersburg, FL.

This year’s event promises an indoor celebration of horror, sci-fi, and pop culture, offering a weekend packed with excitement for fans, collectors, and cosplay artists. The convention will be open from 5 PM to 10 PM on Friday and from Noon to 5 PM on Saturday. Best of all, there is free parking available for all attendees.

The Tampa Bay Screams Horror Convention is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and extensive lineup of activities. Attendees can look forward to meeting horror celebrities, exploring the “Dealer’s Dungeon” vendor expo hall, enjoying a film festival, and much more. The convention is known for featuring some of the best cult horror movie celebrities, and this year is no exception, with four first-time appearances in Florida and several exciting reunions.

Among the notable guests making their Florida convention debuts are:

  • Michelle Bauer: Known for her roles in Reform School Girls, Puppetmaster III, Evil Toons, and Demonwarp.
  • Fred Olen Ray: A returning guest and director of cult classics such as Scalps, The Alien Dead, Biohazard, Attack of the 60′ Centerfold, and Sorceress.
  • Erin Brown: Scream Queen known for Masters of Horror, Shock-O-Rama, and Thrust!
  • Jeff Lieberman: Director of cult classics Squirm and Blue Sunshine.
  • Seth Sklarey: Known as “Orville” the Zombie from Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things.
  • Jack O’Halloran: Known for is role as Non in Superman and Superman II

Fans can also look forward to reunions galore, with Michelle Bauer and Fred Olen Ray reminiscing about their collaborations in films such as Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, Dinosaur Island, and Beverly Hills Vamp. Additionally, returning special guests include Joel Wynkoop, dubbed the “King of the B-Movies,” and wrestling superstar April Hunter.
